We are Ken and Wanda Bauerle, and own and
operate Hog Branch Harness, now located in Purvis, Mississippi.
Over 27 years ago, in Holden, Louisina, on a creek called Hog
Branch, we started making Biothane harness using the material
made by the Bioplastics Company. At one time, people looked at
"plastic" harness as only a product that was cheaper than
leather. Today's domestically produced synthetics are not a
cheap substitute for leather, they are a practical alternative.
They offer a wide range of advantages, including lightness, low
maintenance, uniform strength, cut and abrasion resistance, cold
weather flexibility, rot and odor resistance and best of all for
the south is mildew resistance.
All of this and clean with soap and water- NO OILING. You also
have a breaking strength of 1000# per inch width!
As
you can see from the pictures, we keep a good bit of harness in
stock. When your order is placed, we'll do our best to let you
know how quick you can get your harness delivered!
